The City of Josephine is combining and updating key documents that shape how the City grows and develops into a single Unified Development Code document to improve their functionality and ensure the community's needs are addressed.

Because this document implements the vision set out by the community in the adopted Comprehensive Plan, the City is providing opportunities for residents and stakeholders to participate in the update process.

 

Examples of Unified Development Code items that may be of interest to residents include:

• Parkland Dedication requirements for new Developments

• Minimum number of street connections between new subdivisions to improve public safety response times and neighborhood connectivity.

• Minimum landscape and building placement standards for commercial developments adjacent to residential areas.
